The music of DRY KILL LOGIC won me over from the very first minutes of listening. After much deliberation about what style the band plays, I arrived at this conclusion: a blend of speed metal, death metal guitar heaviness (in the vein of TESTAMENT's recent work), hardcore aggression, and, finally, progressive elements. It all makes for an excellent listen that doesn't wear thin quickly. The songs are well thought-out, with frequent transitions from metal with screaming vocals into rock with clean singing. On top of that, the music is simply outstanding — the riffs are incredibly infectious, and the progressive passages are strikingly beautiful. The album definitely deserves a high rating.
