HECATE ENTHRONED... How much these words mean to a symphonic black metal enthusiast. "Dark Requiems And Unsilent Massacre" is often compared to the early work of another remarkable British act, CRADLE OF FILTH. These comparisons are probably more deserved by vocalist Jon. Still, he doesn't quite reach Dani's level, though his strained scream is quite impressive in its own right. The music, however, is distinctly different. HECATE ENTHRONED possess an ambient-keyboard atmosphere somewhat different from the Cradle's keys -- just listen to the intro of In Nomine Satanas. Magnificent!
