As a certain hedgehog lost in the fog might say: MADMAN!.. But here's the deal: a patient walks into a doctor's office and asks sheepishly, "Doctor, is MORGUL any good?" "Well, my dear patient, it's not bad at all." Throughout the entire disc, I felt that the person who composed this masterpiece — and it is indeed a masterpiece — isn't entirely right in the head. Periodically, such fascinating moments pop up in the music that you start to realize: this is the real deal! The music is incredibly atmospheric — a peculiar reminder of our childhood fears. The vocal parts are frightening not because of their aggression, but because of something far more terrifying: our nightmares from the time when we were barely knee-high. In some compositions, you'll hear rather cheerful parts straight out of a traveling circus, and while listening, you get the distinct feeling that a "friendly" clown is creeping up behind you with a little knife... Creepy stuff, yet all this sonic chaos is strangely pleasant to the ear. In places you can hear violin, and if I'm not mistaken, cello as well, which in turn gives the album even more atmosphere.
