The cover marathon from leaders of the global death/grind scene continues! The second installment of the NAPALM DEATH saga titled "Leaders Not Followers" presents us with 19 covers of bands representing such heavy music styles as thrash and death metal, hardcore, and underground punk. In NAPALM's arrangements, all tracks sound heavier and more ferocious than the originals without losing their groove punch. The growl/scream "singing" is delivered by three fine gentlemen: Mark Greenway, Shane Embury, and Mitch Harris (who doubles as guitarist). The booklet features traditional commentary on each song, as well as Mark's account of the cover marathon concept. As a bonus, the disc also includes the "Lowlife" music video. Solidly done!
