SAMMATH

I will start from the stone in the Folter Records side. Comrades, please send press-releases. I haven’t found the release date mentioned on the promo copy, and I don’t know anything about this band. My “help-stick” was the band’s website, where I’ve finally found the information about SAMMATH. So, SAMMATH – are not the newbies, this is alredy their 3rd full-length album. Blasphemic black metal explosion bangs you during the listening of the whole album! Permanent rhythm changes during the quite not-short (almost each song has the duration more than 6 minutes), great melodies, created by the finest black metal guitars , apocalyptic screaming, various samples (for example, in the middle of Dodengang song we found ourselves on the battlefield, hearing machine gun and bombs explosion) – main features of the SAMMATH music. “Dodengang” – isn’t the album, which we can name monotone. By the way, some moments I found familiar with DIMMU BORGIR “Death Cult Armageddon”, but not so pathos and “licked” sound (“Ravager” track beginning). The real black metal aesthetes should find this release.
