"Apkas Itulia" is an invitation into a fairy tale. In this fairy tale, you are a wanderer, and your path lies through an enchanted forest and impassable mountains, with danger awaiting you at every step. But you are not alone. Your companions are small, playful creatures that appear before you from time to time, frolic, dance in circles in the sunlight that breaks through the dense pine branches, and then... vanish. Tiny elves protect you from the dark forces creeping behind you.
This wonder was created by Bulgarian storyteller Arveless ElFaros — the sole musician and vocalist of SHAMBLESS. And thanks to the russian label Stygian Crypt Productions, you too can enter this fairy tale.
The originality of "Apkas Itulia" lies in the fact that all lyrics are written in Elvish. The style is fitting — atmospheric medieval elfish metal. The music is unusual, beautiful, and melodic. There are many medieval motifs played on ancient musical instruments. Ritual-like chanting parts are layered over the growling vocals. It all sounds quite mysterious.
