Young thrash saplings, the hope of thrash in the new century — young and green Austrians carrying on the work of the great forefathers, eager to prove they are no worse, impressing with their creative productivity, since the band was formed in 2005 and is already releasing its second full-length. Alas, the reason for this is not some otherworldly talent on the musicians' part, but merely the ability to identify global trends and slot neatly into them. Smooth, slick, and sweet, tidy and maximally polished thrash metal with some modern death metal inclusions — audiences consume this as regular chewing gum or background music for skateboarding (or snowboarding). However, as easily as this music is absorbed by the system, just as easily does the system dispose of it. In the natural way. I will not say the album is entirely bad. Quite the opposite, in fact. It is easy to listen to, it is filled with driving guitar riffs stretched over a tight rhythm section framework, there is classic raspy thrash vocal work, decent solos, and some interesting melodic choices — but this music will not last. Future generations will remember Kreator, Metallica, Voivod, Exodus. WOLFPACK UNLEASHED — no. Unfortunately.
