GRAVE are a Swedish death metal band from Visby, formed in 1988. Veterans of the first generation of Swedish death metal, their debut "Into the Grave" is a milestone of the genre's raw, buzzsaw-guitar-driven sound. Across a prolific and remarkably consistent career on Century Media, they have championed old-school death metal with unfashionable fidelity, never straying far from their roots in death, gore, and anti-Christian imagery. GRAVE remain active and one of the most enduring first-generation Swedish death metal acts.
