Scorpio: Hello! Can I already congratulate you on the new music video? How was the weather? Did it get in the way?
V. Holstinin: Yes, the shooting is done. It was all filmed at the Gorkiy film studio, so the weather didn't matter.
S: Could you tell us what the video is about?
V. Dubinin: We don't want to give away the secrets.
S: Your new album will be out soon, and the material is ready. What can you say about the songs?
V. Dubinin: The songs are our children. What can we say about them? Only that we love them!
S: Are there any significant differences between the sound of the new material and your other albums?
V. Holstinin: No, all the lyrics are as usual by M. Pushkina and A. Yelin, and the main music is by me and Vitaliy (Dubinin). Of course, the new musicians have brought something fresh to the sound, but there are no drastic changes.
S: I won't ask you why Kipelov, Terentiev and Maniakin left the band, but tell me please, how did you divide the songs that were written together?
V. Holstinin: Vitaliy and I have enough material of our own, so we don't need to play songs that were written together with the former musicians.
S: Are you in contact with the band Kipelov, which was founded by Kipelov, Terentiev and Maniakin?
V. Dubinin: No.
S: Does the label Aria Records, which was founded specifically for releasing Aria's albums, plan to promote other bands?
V. Holstinin: Yes. And it's already doing so. Maybe you've heard of the bands Epidemia and Sabotage.
S: Many people always compare Aria with the famous British band IRON MAIDEN, and Aria's Gotcha with Maiden's Ed Hunter. What do you think about that?
V. Dubinin: Nothing.
S: One of the members of the Norwegian band Mork Gryning has the complete Aria discography. His friends say he's a huge fan of yours. What do you know about your fans from other countries?
V. Dubinin: We know that there are Aria fans not only in russia and the CIS countries. Even in Japan. One Japanese fan came to our gig at "Chart's Dozen" in the Luzhniki Sports Palace.
S: The funniest moment from the band's life.
V. Holstinin: Er... I can't think of one. That's a hard question to answer. There have been many funny moments.
S: When are you going to play concerts in Ukraine?
V. Holstinin: We hope to visit your country after recording the new album.
S: A few words for your fans:
V. Holstinin: Good luck! We'll be waiting for you at our concerts!
S: Thanks! Good luck!
