Melodic heavy metal duo ELEMENT OF FATE have announced their debut full-length album, DREAMFALL, set for release on July 27, 2026. The band brings together vocalist and visual artist Carol Phillips from Washington, D.C., and guitarist and composer Scott Loose from Portland, Oregon, combining their creative vision into a project that fuses symphonic, gothic, and progressive metal into a cohesive, immersive whole.
DREAMFALL is built around themes of transformation, resilience, and the search for light in the face of darkness — a narrative arc that runs through the record's instrumentation and visual world-building alike. Phillips describes the album as the most personal and ambitious work of her career: "DREAMFALL is the most personal and ambitious project I've ever created as an artist." The result is an artistic statement that extends beyond music into visual storytelling and elaborately constructed fantasy imagery.
A visualizer for the track "Warhorse" has already been released, offering a first look at the sonic and visual universe the band has created for the album. The clip hints at the dramatic dynamics and cinematic scope that define DREAMFALL.
ELEMENT OF FATE are actively seeking press coverage, reviews, and playlist placement ahead of the release. The album is available for preview and pre-order via Bandcamp. Follow the band on Instagram at @element.of.fate and on Facebook for further updates as the July 27 release approaches.
