FEAR FACTORY guitarist and co-founder Dino Cazares has confirmed a new studio album is in its final stages, due before the end of 2026 via Nuclear Blast, with a first single arriving "really soon." The record will be the first full-length to feature vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber — touring members for three years — as permanent recording contributors.
Producer Damien Rainaud (on board since "The Industrialist," 2012) returns. The lineup includes Rhys Fulber (keyboards), Ricky Bonazza (bass, programming, arrangements, additional vocals and lyrics), and Silvestro's conceptual input.
Cazares described the sound as heavy and modern: programming, melodic choruses, aggressive guitar work spanning fast thrash passages and groovy epic outros. Classic FEAR FACTORY updated for the present.
Live plans: co-headline tour with MUSHROOMHEAD and the "Cybernetic Domination" U.S. tour in November 2026 alongside DARKEST HOUR and BROTALITY.
FEAR FACTORY formed in Los Angeles in 1990. "Demanufacture," "Obsolete," and "Digimortal" are landmarks of industrial metal. The new album will be their first since "Aggression Continuum" (2021).
