Canadian all-female metal veterans KITTIE have given fans an up-close look at their long-awaited return to headlining status, with footage from their June 11 concert at the Echoplex in Los Angeles — part of the "Legacy Of Fire Tour: 30 Years Of Kittie."

The 16-date North American trek launched on June 6 in St. Louis, celebrating three decades since the band's formation in London, Ontario in 1996. It builds on the momentum of KITTIE's triumphant comeback: their 2024 album Fire, their first new record in over a decade, and the 2025 anniversary EP Spit XXV, which featured re-recorded tracks from their landmark 1999 debut alongside guest vocalists from across the metal world.

Spit has since earned gold certification in the United States with over 660,000 copies sold — a remarkable achievement for an album first recorded by teenagers, now recognised as a landmark of female-fronted heavy music. The album inspired generations of musicians and proved the enduring power of KITTIE's uncompromising approach.

The current lineup features core members MORGAN LANDER (vocals/guitar) and MERCEDES LANDER (drums), with RACHEL GONZALES filling in on bass for IVANA "IVY" VUJIC, who is absent from the first leg due to family obligations. Vujic is expected to rejoin the tour in August. Support comes from KINGDOM OF GIANTS and GORE.

The band have been thoughtful about balancing the road with personal commitments: "We fully support her decision and know how important this time is for her and her family," the group stated regarding Vujic's absence.

The Los Angeles footage, uploaded by fans, offers a rare window into a live KITTIE experience — and compelling evidence that the band has lost none of its intensity or connection with audiences after all these years away from headline touring.
