British extreme metal institution CRADLE OF FILTH will return to North America this fall for "Majestic In Death II," the second leg of a tour marking the 30th anniversary of the band's landmark 1996 album "Dusk... And Her Embrace," with select tracks from the record featured throughout the set.
The 23-date run kicks off September 29 in San Diego and winds through the U.S. and Canada — including a stop at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento — before closing October 28 in Colorado Springs. MOONSPELL and WORM will support across the tour, with BLACK SATELLITE joining select dates. Presales begin July 16 at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale following July 17.
"More filth North America? We heard you!" the band said in announcing the trek. "The 'Majestic In Death' tour continues with Part II coming your way this fall!"
"Dusk... And Her Embrace," CRADLE OF FILTH's second album, helped define the band's ornate, symphonic strain of extreme metal and remains among its most influential records, cementing frontman Dani Filth's operatic vocal extremes and the band's gothic, theatrical aesthetic as genre touchstones. The anniversary staging gives longtime fans a chance to hear deep cuts from the album alongside the band's more recent material.
The tour follows the March 2025 release of CRADLE OF FILTH's fourteenth studio album, "The Screaming Of The Valkyries," via Napalm Records, and comes amid recent lineup adjustments that Filth has addressed candidly. "Bands evolve. We evolve and move on," he said of the changes.
With MOONSPELL — Portuguese gothic metal veterans with their own multi-decade pedigree — and death metal act WORM rounding out the bill, "Majestic In Death II" pairs one of extreme metal's most theatrical live acts with support that spans multiple corners of the genre, giving the tour broad appeal heading into its fall run.
