DEFILED have released a new live video, "Live In Osaka 2026," filmed this spring during the band's show alongside fellow genre veterans MAYHEM.
"This live performance was filmed just before the release of our new album, 'Altered State,'" DEFILED guitarist and founding member Yusuke Sumita said. "It captures the raw energy of our live show. We hope you all enjoy it!"
The video arrives as "Altered State," DEFILED's ninth studio album, continues to find a wider audience following its release via Season Of Mist. We gave the record an 8/10 in our review, praising the Osaka veterans' command of technical, blast-driven death metal without leaning on old-school nostalgia to carry the record.
DEFILED will bring the "Altered State" material to a run of Japanese dates this September, including a September 6 show at Hyobo's Harbor Studio with I AM MORBID and TERRORIZER, followed by shows in Tokyo on September 15 and Osaka on September 16, both alongside BRUJERIA.
