John 5 has released a music video for "You Me And The Devil Makes Three," the latest single pulled from his solo album "Ghost," which came out in October 2025.
The video, directed and edited by Joey Aguirre and co-produced with John 5 himself, was built around footage of the guitarist performing during dates on his solo tour, capturing him in his element on stages around the world rather than leaning on a scripted concept.
"You Me And The Devil Makes Three" follows previous "Ghost" singles "Hollywood Story," "Fiend," "Deviant" and "Moon Glow," continuing the rollout of a record that showcases John 5's instrumental guitar work outside his day job as MÖTLEY CRÜE's guitarist, a role he has held since joining the band in October 2022 following Mick Mars's retirement from touring. The track's studio version was produced and mixed by Barry Pointer.
John 5 has spent more than three decades as one of rock and metal's most in-demand guitarists, with credits alongside Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, David Lee Roth and LYNYRD SKYNYRD before his current tenure in MÖTLEY CRÜE. That workload hasn't slowed his touring appetite — he described life on the road in decidedly upbeat terms, saying "I really love being on the road... It's super relaxing," while crediting a disciplined approach to health, including consistent sleep, proper nutrition and vitamins, for helping him sustain the pace.
The guitarist's schedule for the rest of 2026 reflects that same relentless work ethic. He'll join MÖTLEY CRÜE for the band's "The Return Of Carnival Of Sins" tour over the summer before returning to his own solo dates across England, Scotland and Mexico in October and November.
With "You Me And The Devil Makes Three" now backed by a live-flavored video, John 5 continues to use his solo output as a showcase for pure instrumental technique — a contrast to his stadium-scale day job that has become a defining feature of his solo career.
