KIM DRACULA has signed with Rise Records and released a new single, "Molecular Conversion," alongside a music video directed by Max Moore.
"Finally, you will get to see the next chapter. New song. New label. New story," Kim Dracula said of the signing and single. The Australian-born, U.S.-based artist, who uses they/them pronouns, is known for blending metal, industrial, jazz, trap and Latin influences into a theatrical style built around a six-octave vocal range, following a 2023 concept album debut, "A Gradual Decline In Morale."
The "Molecular Conversion" video continues the visual narrative Kim Dracula has built across previous releases, part of what the artist has described as an ongoing cinematic universe. The clip features Kim Dracula, their band and backing vocalists in all-white attire on a brightly lit stage surrounded by greenery, extending the visual mythology established across earlier singles and videos.
The signing and single arrive ahead of a busy touring stretch. Kim Dracula will perform across Europe's festival circuit from July 31 through August 16, with stops including WACKEN OPEN AIR, Brutal Assault, Festival 666, Motocultor and Sziget Festival, among others. Later in the year, on October 24, the artist will headline a one-off Las Vegas special titled "Haunted," a 90-minute collaborative performance with illusionist Criss Angel at Planet Hollywood.
With a new label backing the next phase of their career and a genre-agnostic sound that continues to draw in audiences beyond traditional metal circles, Kim Dracula's move to Rise Records positions "Molecular Conversion" as the opening statement of a new creative chapter, with further new material expected to follow as the year continues.
