SLEEP TOKEN's 2023 album, "Take Me Back To Eden," has been certified platinum by the RIAA, marking the first platinum certification in the history of Spinefarm Records. The album's single "The Summoning" has additionally been certified gold.
Released May 19, 2023, "Take Me Back To Eden" has accumulated more than 2 billion global streams since its release, a figure reflecting the anonymous collective's rapid ascent from a cult concern to one of modern metal's most commercially dominant acts. The album's success helped push SLEEP TOKEN to sold-out U.S. arena tours and firmly established the band at arena-headliner status.
The certification arrives as SLEEP TOKEN continues to build on that momentum with its most recent album, "Even In Arcadia," released in May 2025 via RCA Records. That record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, remained on the chart for 36 consecutive weeks, and received its own RIAA gold certification on January 26, 2026. The band has also broken into wider industry recognition beyond metal circles, earning its first Grammy nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards, including nods for Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Song, while drummer II picked up a Grammy win of his own for featured work on another artist's track.
Formed in London in 2016, SLEEP TOKEN has built its identity around anonymity, with members performing in cloaks and masks and primary contributors Vessel and II serving as the band's public-facing figures.
