German heavy metal punks MIDNIGHT PREY are streaming their second album, Jenseitsritt, in full at Decibel magazine's website ahead of its September 25 release via Dying Victims Productions. Hear it here.
Formed in 2012 in the Black Forest and based in Hamburg since 2015, the power trio broke through with 2019's Uncertain Times — a cult favorite mixing '70s hard rock, '80s traditional metal, punk, and speed metal. After a brief split in 2020, MIDNIGHT PREY returned in 2023 with the Black Cat / Sword and Shield EP and the Gathered Under Open Skies split with labelmates FIRMAMENT. Jenseitsritt packs seven songs into 37 minutes.
