Budapest death metal band VÉR have revealed a second track from their debut album, A Féreg Pusztulása. The title track premiered today, November 2, at NoCleanSinging.com, a month before the record lands on December 3 via Me Saco Un Ojo Records.
We first wrote about the album back in early October, when the band announced the release date and shared the video for "Paranoia", which is still the best place to start:
The title track is the album's penultimate song. VÉR debuted in September 2024 with an 18-minute demo, which Me Saco Un Ojo put out on cassette the following year. The label places the full-length in an old-school lineage that runs through early CEMETARY, early GRAVE, mid-'90s IMMOLATION and early ABSU, while stressing the pitch-black atmosphere the Hungarians build with effects pedals and a careful sense of dynamics. The cover is by Brad Moore.
