Another "Energizer" from Peaceville. On the cover — dotted lines and arcs drafted with computer precision. In the music — nearly an hour of ascetic metalcore, complete with anguished screams run through effects pedals and samples in the "cat walking across a piano" style. If the primary objective of such eruptions is to confuse the listener and ruin their mood, then in my case the plan was fulfilled and then some — three times over, in fact. Although yes — what can you expect from a band that names its hits "A Ventilation System For Cooling Poultry," heh? I listened for a long time, searching for differences between the compositions. I felt like I was at a Kashpirovsky hypnosis session — the man is scary-looking (you'd be afraid to sit near him), yet you're being pulled into slee-eee-ep... "Your eyelids are getting heavy..." Ugh, what a nightmare! Perhaps fans of THE GREAT DECEIVER and GRIP INC. might find it to their taste, but I have no desire to return to the "Energizer." I know more about knitting than I do about this kind of music...
