One of the first Yugoslav (now Macedonian) gothic rock projects, having existed for about half a century now, and quite easily classified as "classic gothic rock." A deep, low male voice, at times reminiscent of Fernando Ribeiro from Moonspell when he sings clean. The music is guitar-oriented, with an approximate similarity to The Sisters Of Mercy. As is customary, a driving bass line accompanies us throughout the entire album. Keyboards are also present -- they are nearly inseparable from gothic music -- and the rhythm section is live, which, conversely, slightly distinguishes the act (consisting, incidentally, of only two permanent members) from the classic gothic rock template, since drum machines are more typical for the style. However, the rhythm section offers no particular surprises, nor does the album as a whole, which comes across as somewhat listless, lifeless, and at times even boring. Though I'm sure some will prefer to use euphemisms like "velvety," "melancholic," and "sorrowful." Well, everyone judges differently, but if you consider that the style originally descended from punk rock, the album objectively lacks drive and energy. For those who enjoy dark melancholy, however -- those who felt close to the most melancholic creations of such style giants as Dreadful Shadows -- the new work from these Slavic brothers will be right up their alley.
