The Moscow band DIGIMORTAL is going to release it first album

NOVEMBRE: New Album Details Revealed

Italy's NOVEMBRE will release its new album, "The Blue" (cover artwork), on November 5 via Peaceville Records. The CD was recorded at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland with producer Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, SENTENCED, AMORPHIS).

RASHAMBA - The new EP's release

EMPIREs new album "Chasing Shadows"

November 23rd, 2007 will see the release of the brand new EMPIRE album "Chasing Shadows" on METAL HEAVEN. This will be the 4th release from the band and the 1st featuring vocalist Doogie White (ex Rainbow, Cornerstone, Yngwie Malmsteen) and drummer Mike Terrana (Masterplan, Axel Rudi Pell) along side long time bass player, Neil Murray (ex Whitesnake, ex Black Sabbath, ex Gary Moore) and founding member, guitarist Rolf Munkes.

Munkes and White were introduced by Murray in late 2006. They quickly established a formidable writing partnership. The songs were written over a 2 month period near the beginning of 2007. The album went into full production in late Spring and was produced and mixed by Munkes at Empire Studios over the Summer months.

Former EVANESCENCE Members Writing, Producing Material For CELINE DION

Ben Moody and David Hodges, the duo behind the EVANESCENCE hit songs "Bring Me To Life" and "Fallen", have teamed up again to write and produce the new CELINE DION song "This Time", set to appear on her new album, "Taking Chances", due out November 13 on Columbia.

AFTER FOREVER Singer To Guest On New AYREON CD; Audio Available

AYREON, the brainchild of Dutch guitarist/composer Arjen Lucassen, has posted audio samples (sample#1' , sample#2' ) of the next two guest singers who will appear on the band's upcoming album, tentatively due late 2007/early 2008: Phideaux Xavier and AFTER FOREVER frontwoman Floor Jansen. Other vocalists scheduled to appear on the CD include Bob Catley (MAGNUM), Anneke van Giersbergen (THE GATHERING), Jonas P. Renske (KATATONIA), Jorn Lande (MASTERPLAN), Tom S. Englund (EVERGREY), Ty Tabor (KING'S X), Magali Luyten (VIRUS IV), Simone Simons (EPICA) and Liselotte Hegt (DIAL). A total of fifteen singers have been confirmed to guest on the album, with more to be added.


Wolfsangel renamed to Wolfmare

Folk metal band Wolfsangel from St. Petersburg, Russia celebrated their 5th anniversary in a special way. They had changed their name to Wolfmare. Let us note that this band has a 3-album contract with famous Austrian label CCP Records. The first of them, Whitemare Rhymes, will be released in November. They had also updated their official site. OVERKILL: "Immortalis" Track Listing, Artwork Unveiled

Legendary New Jersey thrashers OVERKILL will release their new album, "Immortalis", on October 9 via Bodog Music. The group's collaboration with Bodog reunites OVERKILL with Jonny and Marsha Zazula, previous owners of Megaforce Records, the label responsible for putting metal on the map and bringing OVERKILL's New Jersey thrash metal to the world. Moonspell: "Under SatanÆ" release date announced

SPV has set an October 12 German release date for Moonspell's new CD, "Under SatanÆ", which consists of re-recordings of the band's legendary Ep "Under the Moonspell" (1994) as well as their first demo "Anno SatanÆ" and their sole track as Morbid God, "Serpent Angel". All songs were re-arranged and revamped in order to "underline their revered distinction as underground classics but now with a mature dark energy and class," according to a press release. "The full-length Cd (eight songs and around five instrumental compositions) was recorded at Denmark's Antfarm Studios with Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Dark Tranquillity, Rob Halford)."

Guitarist Steve Smyth has officially parted ways with NEVERMORE, citing personal and business differences.

According to Smyth:
"All things find their end eventually, and at this time, I wish to make it clear that this was mutually agreed between the band and myself.

I will continue on with other aspects of my music career, including the upcoming release of The EssenEss Project, an all instrumental album, in the vein of progressive rock, that is now finished and being prepared for release.
