A new heavy metal supergroup is forming: T3RMINAL brings together TESLA bassist and co-founder Brian Wheat, original TESLA guitarist Tommy Skeoch, former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes, and SALIVA frontman Josey Scott. Drummer Sal Giancarelli — long associated with STAIND — rounds out the studio lineup.
The band is currently deep in the writing process for its debut full-length album, expected to arrive in late 2026 or early 2027. Speaking to The Adventures Of Pipeman, Wheat said: "We get together and that's where the magic happens." He noted that logistical demands — including the TESLA/MÖTLEY CRÜE summer tour — have made it difficult to have all members in the same room simultaneously, but sessions are ongoing.
Despite the impressive pedigree involved, the T3RMINAL sound reportedly defies expectations. Wheat was direct: "Let me tell you what it doesn't sound like. It doesn't sound like TESLA. It doesn't sound like W.A.S.P." Scott echoed the sentiment: "I think people are gonna be really surprised."
Scott explained the unusual chemistry: "The natural TESLA sound that Brian and Tommy have lends itself perfectly to what Chris does with his '80s guitar riffs. And then I just come in and sing my heart."
A debut single is expected before the end of 2026. No label has been officially announced yet.
