On June 26, 1985, MOTÖRHEAD performed their legendary tenth anniversary concert at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England — an event later released as the live video and album The Birthday Party. To mark a decade since Lemmy formed the band in June 1975, the performance reunited members from across the band's history on stage: every surviving former member joined the classic "Three Amigos" lineup of Lemmy, Phil Campbell, and Würzel. Phil Lynott of THIN LIZZY joined for "Motörhead," and Wendy O. Williams joined for "No Class." The setlist spanned the entire catalog from "Motörhead" through "Ace of Spades" and "Overkill." The Birthday Party is one of the great live documents in heavy metal history — a chaotic, joyous, and deeply emotional celebration of one of rock and metal's most beloved and important bands at exactly the right moment.
