PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS have announced a 12-date European summer tour to honor the memory of their late father, legendary MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Phil Campbell, who passed away in March 2026. The run kicks off on July 23 and wraps on August 22, 2026, with two particularly special dates as support act for JUDAS PRIEST: Warsaw on July 28 and Ostrava on August 2.
Phil Campbell joined MOTÖRHEAD in 1984 after impressing Lemmy Kilmister at auditions, and became the band's sole guitarist from 1995 until their dissolution following Lemmy's death in December 2015. Over three decades, he contributed to such classic albums as Orgasmatron (1986), 1916 (1991), and Bastards (1993), cementing his legacy as one of metal's most vital rhythm forces.
His sons — Dane, Todd, and Tyla — formed PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS and have continued making music in their father's spirit. The band released their third studio album Kings of the Asylum in September 2023 and previously toured with MOTÖRHEAD alumni, including shows alongside former bandmate Mikkey Dee.
"We are heading back to the stage, fueled by a mission that goes beyond the music," the band said in a statement. Fans can expect "loud, honest, and uncompromising rock 'n' roll" as the Campbells pay tribute to one of metal's most beloved guitarists. Full tour dates and ticket information are available on the band's official website.
