BRUCE DICKINSON, vocalist of IRON MAIDEN, has released the music video for "Tears Of The Dragon," a track reimagined for his reworked 1994 solo album More Balls To Picasso. The clip has swept the international film festival circuit, winning "Best Music Video" at seven festivals — including the Los Angeles Film Festival IAF, Los Angeles Film Awards, and New York International Film Awards — plus Bronze at the Berlin Music Video Awards. It also earned nominations from the Cannes Film Festival and the Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival.
Filmed in September 2025 at an abandoned São Paulo brewery, the video was directed by Leo Liberti and Antoine de Montremy. Dickinson performs alongside his House Band of Hell and the Almai Orchestra, conducted by Antonio Teoli, with Brazilian ballet dancer Renata Bardazi featuring in the visuals.
"When we reimagined the whole album, we always wanted to do an orchestral version," Dickinson said, describing the result as "brilliant madness."
More Balls To Picasso is a reworked version of the 1994 original, featuring re-recorded and remixed tracks alongside two previously unreleased live-in-studio recordings. It is available on splatter vinyl and digisleeve CD.
"Tears Of The Dragon" has always stood among the strongest tracks in Dickinson's solo catalog. This orchestral reimagining — now recognized by the international film festival circuit — confirms it as a piece of work that transcends the usual category of "metal music video." Dickinson, as ever, operates in a league of his own.
