S: Just some people know about WIVERN in Ukraine, except Odessa, that's why tellus something about your band.

Sergey: Our group created in 1999, took part in different festivals,played in Odessa and other cities.In 2001 we recorded demo, which you can find on our web-site.

S: By the way, what does your group's name means?

Sergey: Wivern-on english means "winged dragon".

S: What is line-up of your group?

Sergey: Sergey Shatukh-vocal

Al Hellheart-guitar,back vocal

S: What kind of music Wivern play and on whom your sound seams?

Sergey:Our sound seams on us, and our style is hard`n`thrash.

S: I heard what you have a new material, and perhaps it'll be enough for a new album.Tell something about it.

Sergey: We have material, but we have often changes in our line-up and we can't record it.

S: You said, that you whant "as soon as will be possibilityto record a new material". Is this hard to record and release new album in Odessa?And what does it means "as soon as will be possibility"?

Sergey:In Odessa so as in all Ukraine impossible corpulence record, release andsale album. But there is no sense to do law-quality record and than sale it in 100 quantity. So as soon as it'll bepossible we'll record a demo and than we'll see what to do with it.

S: On your web-site dragon receive visitors, do you like fantasy?What is your favourite writers?

Sergey: No I don't like fantasy. Dragon - it's our group's symbol.And favourite writers - Ray Bradberry and Bram Stoker.

S: Do you take theme for lyrics from books?

Sergey: No, theme to our lyrics we take from our abhorrent realityor as Tom Araya said, if our verses will be abhorrent, reality'll be more abhorrent.

S: In metal-bands, specially that played black, death/grind took different nicknames.Your relation to it?

Sergey: Everybody have a right to choose a name, specially in creation,for example our guitarist. As for me it's normal, but without some addes graff or baron, it sounds ridiculous.

S: Imagine that you have a right to select when and whom to live on Earth,what will you do?

Sergey: I want to live at this time, to be myselfe and to live only my own life.

S: Odessa it's a capital of Ukrainian humor. Tell us how members ofgroup joke about each other?

Sergey: We don't joke about each over, but we like humor.

S: You have a lot concerts in Odessa, what can you say about concerts in other cities?

Sergey: It's a pity, that in other cities organizers take us betterpossibilities than in Odessa. That's why we often playes in other cities, not less than in Odessa.And in this years first our concerts we want to play in other cities.
